Schedule
Below is the planned schedule for WRC 2022. Please be aware that it is subject to change so please check the site before the event; at the event, listen to tournament organizers’ instructions.
The fun starts on Wednesday evening with the opening socialiser, and then social play.
Everyone plays the first ten hanchan (Thursday and Friday).
After the 10th hanchan, the top 32 by points will continue, playing two hanchan. For those who do not make the cut, there is an optional mini-tournament (details to be announced) on Saturday morning. On Saturday afternoon, the 1st and 2nd place of each table in the best 32 will move forward to the quarter finals. There is an optional Strategy Study Session for all others.
On Sunday morning, the 1st and 2nd place of each table in the best 16 will play best in the semis, whilst everyone else has the option of attending informative seminars (details to be announced). On Sunday afternoon, 1st and 2nd place of each table in the top 8 will play the final table, and that is two hanchan; everyone else is welcome to view the finals. And then, on Sunday evening, we'll have the closing ceremony and awards
